The Publishing Story: Real Life Theology
Jason Henderson and Bobby Harrington of Renew.org came to us with a major task: to help them edit, design, and publish a lay-person’s systematic theology—in twelve volumes, plus a collection of all twelve into one book!
While they had an editorial director on staff, they wanted additional editing input for this important set of resources. Plus, they needed help creating a metabrand for this series of books. That is, they needed us to not only create a cover but twelve covers that looked good together, yet had unique elements.

At each step of the way, we guided the team on elements like trim size, interior design features, and how to edit in a consistent way books from various authors for a niche audience.
We helped Renew publish Real Life Theology on September 17, 2021, for readers around the world, which has helped fuel their mission to renew the teachings of Jesus in a way the fuels disciple making.
We appreciated in these books the diversity of authors and writing styles, the comprehensive nature of the task, and the strategic vision of this book.
